|
ACTIVITY 1: INTERVIEWING YOUR CLIENT
Suggested Time for Activity: 35 minutes
2:10 - 2:45
Today you will be interviewing Nelms Pharmacy. Pull out your folders from the bins and be ready to ask questions. I will introduce them and then they will tell you a little about their business. In your folder, you have notebook paper to take notes. Then, Mr. and Mrs. Nelms will take questions. To ask a question, you need to raise your hand to be called on. Every group is required to ask 2 questions. They can be the questions I provided you or ones that you and your partners came up with on your own.
ACTIVITY 2: EVALUATING YOUR PLANS
Suggested Time for Activity: 10 minutes
2:45 - 2:55
Go back to pages 2 and 3 of your graphic organizer in your folders.
After the interview, did the ideas you have on these pages change?
Look at page . Who did you identify as their target audience? Did your ideas about the target audience change after the interview?
Look at page 3. What advertising technique did you think would be best for their ad campaign? After the interview, do you feel the same? Is there another techniques that would be better?
Now, discuss the things you learned about Nelms Pharmacy with your partners. What things did you learn that might impact how you advertise for them. Write your ideas on the notebook paper in your folder.
