THE LESSON MISSION
What are STEM Jobs
Today, we are going to learn about STEM careers. A career is a job that you do for a long time. STEM careers are jobs that people have in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Today, we are going to read a book together as a class called, What Can I Be? STEM Careers from A to Z by Tiffani Teachey. I am going to read this book to you but if you miss today, you can listen to the story by watching the video below.

STEM Careers
Now we are going to go over the jobs that you learned about and a few more. I am going to call out a job and describe the job again. Then I will ask you to raise your hand if you think you might be interested in doing the job one day. You can choose more than one. We will make a large chart showing how interested Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade are in each job.
Coloring Your Career
Now, you get to choose your favorite 3 jobs that we talked about and color pages of those jobs. Choose your three favorire STEM Jobs coloring pages from your table bins to color.
