LESSON 6: INTRODUCTION TO ACAP READING TESTING

THE LESSON MISSION

I can explain the buttons, toolboxes, and toolbars in the ACAP Reading Test.

ACAP

ACAP stands for Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Program. This is going to be the new state test in Alabama. We will no longer use Performance Series as our state test. ACAP is an online test and is very different from Performance Series. ACAP uses different types of questions and has many technology tools and features that you will use when you test. You need practice answering these types of questions and using these tools before you take the test. We will spend 1 class each month until April learning about the different question types and tools so you are comfortable with them. Practicing how to answer the questions using the tools will take away the pressures of how to take the test so that you can focus on answering questions correctly to show your mad skills!
