You will have 5 minutes to complete this activity. Turn to your shoulder partner and work together to name 2 types of information that should be kept private on the internet. For each item, give one reason the information should be kept private. One partner write the first type of information and reason on the paper provided. The other partner write the second type of information and reason on the paper provided.

You will have 5 minutes to complete this activity. Turn to your shoulder partner and discuss the difference in a username and a password. Write your answer on the post-it note and stick it to the board.
ACTIVITY 3: FIGURING IT OUT
Usernames and passwords are information that should be kept private but easy for the user to remember. Many times you will be able to choose your username and password. A strong password is at least 6 characters long and uses a combination of upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and even symbols.
We will now do a Username and Password Activity. Look at the chart below. Complete this activity by choosing one item from each column and then putting them together to form an easy to remember password. Make 3 - 5 possible passwords and write them down on the paper provided for you. Take these with you so that you will have some memorable passwords to use in the future.
