ABOUT THE UNIT
In the Germany unit, students will learn about how many of our Christmas traditions in America originated in Germany and they will learn about Christmas traditions unique to Germany. KINDERGARTEN

Digital Decorations
Students will learn about Christmas traditions that originated in Germany. Then Kindergarten students will decorate digital Christmas trees, houses, and Gingerbread Houses on ABC - YA. Click on the icons to the right to go to ABC Ya Activities. |

1st GRADE
|
Lego Challenges
Students will learn about Christmas traditions that originated in Germany. Then 1st grade students will participate in the Lego Challenge where they will create these items with Legos. See the challenges by viewing the slideshow to the right. |

2nd GRADE
|
Students will learn about Christmas traditions that originated in Germany. Then 2nd grade students will create a Christmas Tree with Christmas Tree tessellations.

Students will learn about Christmas traditions that originated in Germany. Then 3rd grade students will learn binary code for colors and use the code to color a Christmas Tree.
